WHO WE ARE
Oregon Adventure Theatre is a non-profit theatre company founded on bringing art to where we live. That everyone can benefit from performance art and that storytelling is always at the root of a healthy, vital community.
Since its creation in 2012, O.A.T. has employed over 100 artists performing over 150 performances in many locations throughout the Portland Metropolitan area, touring as far as La Grande, OR.

- We tell stories around a campfire.
- We use lanterns to light our stage.
- We use Commedia Dell'arte masks.
- We believe the sounds of the wind in the trees overhead and the occasional shooting star enrich and call us back to the foundations of storytelling.
- Stories are made better by the communities that surround them.
- The ideal stage is the open one, the found one, the living one, where anyone or anything could wander in and become a part of the show.
- We strive to fill the grass-covered, tarp-protected, White Oak and Douglas Fir inhabited spaces that make the Pacific Northwest such a spectacular place to live.
