Oregon Adventure Theatre (OAT) will be holding in-person auditions for our traveling outdoor summer 2024 show, William Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors directed by Eleanor Johnson.
We are looking to narrow down this 22-character play to 9 actors, so this will be a very ensemble-motivated piece. In addition, this show will be presented entirely in the Commedia Dell’Arte Style, meaning every character will be masked in this show.
This is a PAID production
We encourage all genders/ethnicities/ages to audition!
Actors will receive a stipend of at least $599.

Who We Are:
OAT is a non-profit 501(c)3 company 12 years into our mission to do good work that strengthens relationships between people and the outdoors.
This summer we'll be sharing Shakespeare’s slapstick farce, wearing Commedia Dell’arte masks, lit by lanterns, and a propane fire pit throughout the Portland metro area. We will be performing in backyards, parks, and culminating in an overnight campout at Turning Earth Farms in Dallas, OR. Creating community and telling an unforgettable story all around a campfire.
